HSC invited to hear renowned genome researcher

All members of the Health Science Center community are invited to hear a presentation by Leroy Hood, the scientist who invented the sequencing technology that led to the decoding of the human genome in 2001, at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Health Professions/Nursing/Pharmacy complex auditorium.


Hood, the founder of the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle, will discuss "Systems biology and systems medicine - catalyzing a transformation from reactive to proactive medicine."
